Mother Nature can be finicky so although this list is ordered based on likely availability,

The whole orchard does not ripen at once, some apples ripen early and some need a frost to finish ripening. Just because an apple is red doesn’t mean it is ripe, we use ropes at the orchard to rope off the areas that are not ripe yet for picking. A red apple still needs sugar to go into the apple, without the sugar the apple would not have that great Wisconsin farm grown and picked taste.
